The Man Behind the Path

Before being a guide, I am someone who finds balance in nature. I am a husband and a father, and my family is my foundation. When I’m not on the trails, you’ll find me at sea-water sports are my other great passion and how I recharge my energy.

This personal connection with the elements, between land and water, is what I strive to pass on in every experience I design.

Facilitator, Trainer, and Leader

My professional journey was built in training and team leadership. This experience in leading people allows me to be more than just a guide today; I am a facilitator. I know how the rhythm of your steps, the silence of nature, and the right conversations at the right time can open new perspectives and bring a mental clarity that is rare nowadays.

With a deep knowledge of cultural storytelling, I turn every hike into a living narrative, introducing you to the myths, the people, and the details that make each place unique.

Curating Immersive Experiences.

As an expert in designing off-the-beaten-path itineraries, I focus on settings where nature and the soul meet. The Rota Vicentina is a territory where I collaborate as a Member of the Supervisory Board, allowing me to ensure an ethical and rigorous commitment to its preservation. But my curation extends to other magical places, like the mystical Sintra, always shrouded in legend, Arrábida, which balances the crystal blue of the sea with the deep green of the mountains, the wild and pure Gerês, and the legendary, life-changing Caminos de Santiago.

At Hike Time, every detail is planned for your total comfort, but my focus remains on the intangible: the experience, the moment, and your own transformation.
